A Pluralsight-supported workforce initiative in Nova Scotia produced measurable results: 1,930 learners trained, 900+ industry certifications earned, and 600+ jobs secured — a model replicable for federal department upskilling programs. Pluralsight’s 2025 Tech Skills Report (2,500+ respondents) found that 95% of IT professionals lack adequate support for tech learning, 65% of organizations have abandoned AI projects due to skills gaps, and cybersecurity, cloud, and AI/ML are the top three workforce deficits — the same gaps facing every Canadian federal department.
